MT Power has once again successfully delivered the generator set for the FPSO project.

Recently, with the successful completion of the factory test stand by the joint efforts of Singaporean shipowner Yinson, Italian end-user ENI, DNV classification society, and Cummins technical experts, MT Power has once again successfully delivered a complete set of FPSO generator sets for a project.

It is reported that this project will be used in the West Hub Development area oilfield operations in Angola, Africa, marking a further enhancement of MT Power's brand influence in the field of special ship power equipment for oil and gas fields. The main equipment of the project includes:

.Two Cummins QSK95-DM 2650kWe Essential Diesel Generator sets

.One Cummins QSK95-DM 2650kWe Essential Diesel Generator set combined with a Fire Water Pump Generator

.One Cummins QSK95-DM 2650kWe Fire Water Pump Generator

.One Cummins QSK60-DM 1600kWe Emergency Diesel Generator set

In addition to the overall DNV classification society's WPS welding process certification, C5M anti-corrosion requirements, and GCP dual-core control system process standards, which record engine load, speed, and fuel consumption to provide self-diagnosis and predictive functions for effective cost management, it is worth mentioning that this project has integrated the functions of a QSK95 Essential Diesel Generator set with a Fire Water Pump Generator through technological innovation. This set can act as an Essential Diesel Generator set under normal circumstances and switch to a Fire Water Pump Generator mode to continuously supply power to the fire pump in case of a fire emergency, to prevent sudden fires and ensure the safety of the ship.

As a key project for MT Power, since the start of the project, the MT Power team has overcome various challenges such as labor and material shortages, high technical difficulties, and tight delivery schedules. All employees have worked overtime to tackle difficulties. With the full effort of the production workshop and the joint cooperation of various management departments, the smooth delivery of the project has been ensured and has received high recognition and affirmation from the shipowner and end-user. The successful delivery of this project demonstrates the technical ability and delivery assurance of the MT Power team, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation with domestic and international marine equipment projects. MT Power will also take this opportunity to continue to summarize experience, leverage advantages, and create long-term value for more users.
