ncreasing pressures on ship operators and port authorities to minimise the impact of air pollution and noise emissions by way of meeting strict environmental regulations are now a worldwide concern.
One particular solution for reducing emissions during port docking is the use of high voltage onshore power supply system.
System design is essentially based on meeting port needs while also conforming to ICE/ISO/IEEE 8005 requirement. A configuration typically comprises key components such as cable reel, a medium voltage switchboard and a control and monitoring facility inclusive of an interface between ship and shore. A complete assembly can either be installed separately aboard a vessel or containerised for sitting a specific onboard location.

02/SHAFT GENERATOR FREQUENCY CONVERSION SYSTEM
The shaft generator frequency conversion system utilizes a shaft generator driven by a gearbox at the free end of a diesel engine to output a stable frequency and stable quality reliable power supply, meeting the electrical load of the entire ship during navigation, achieving fuel conservation and emission reduction, extending the maintenance time of the generator set, reducing engine room noise, and lowering ship operating costs. The shaft generator system can be synchronized with the main generator for a long time, and has load distribution and power station management functions.
